Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 1, 2025

At Brodie Horizon Media, we are committed to delivering high-quality photography, videography, and creative services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which clients may be eligible for a refund.

1. Deposits
  • Deposits made to secure a booking are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of booking.

  • Deposits cover pre-production costs, scheduling commitments, and administrative expenses.

 
2. Cancellations
  • Client-Initiated Cancellations – Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled shoot date may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations within 14 days of the scheduled shoot date are non-refundable due to reserved time and resources.

  • Brodie Horizon Media Cancellations – If we must cancel a project for reasons within our control (excluding weather, safety, or regulatory restrictions), a full refund will be issued, including any deposits paid.

 
3. Rescheduling
  • If a shoot is rescheduled due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, we will apply your payment to a new date without penalty.

  • If the client cannot reschedule, our standard cancellation terms will apply.

 
4. Post-Production & Final Deliverables
  • Once final deliverables (photos, videos, or other content) are sent, refunds are not available unless there is a proven defect or error directly caused by our production process.

  • Minor dissatisfaction with creative style, color grading, or artistic direction is not considered grounds for a refund, as these elements are subjective and agreed upon during the planning stage.

 
5. Refund Process
  • Refund requests must be made in writing to [Your Email Address] within 7 days of the event date or delivery of final media.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days via the original payment method.

 
6. Non-Refundable Items
  • Travel expenses, permit fees, or third-party costs incurred on the client’s behalf are non-refundable.

  • Rush order fees and special editing requests are non-refundable.

 
7. Dispute Resolution

We strive to resolve all concerns directly and professionally. If you are unhappy with your service, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue before it becomes a formal refund request.
